RUBAN GETS BACK ON TRACK

RUBAN GETS BACK ON TRACK

After a prolonged absence due to a nasty virus infection was not the Summer everyone was anticipating for RUBAN, but he returned to racing at Kempton this afternoon in a seven furlong handicap on the all-weather surface under apprentice jockey Milly Naseb.

The jockey treated the horse well in this come-back race and whilst never likely to be competitive, he ran well enough to suggest he is capable of better things once the cobwebs have blown away.  He was running on nicely at the finish despite finishing unplaced towards the back of the field, and provided he continues to scope clean, then should be looking for a further outing very soon.
