Stable Visit to Amy Murphy’s Stables on Saturday 21st October

On a breezy and bright early morning we had our first stable visit at our new trainer’s stables in Hamilton Road, Newmarket.  Amy Murphy and her team were most welcoming and although it was an early start for most of us, ENOLA was actually going out at 8.45am in Amy’s third lot of the morning!

Having tucked in to our bacon rolls and coffee, we headed off to the gallops to watch ENOLA.  The string started off with a warm up canter on the circle track before heading onto the all-weather gallop for a faster straight piece of work.   ENOLA has certainly settled in and looks a different horse.

However, the star of the yard was missing.  Amy’s Shetland pony who was having a jolly day out at Market Rasen accompanying a rather stressy 4year old.

Finally, subject to ENOLA’s satisfactory progress in her training over the next 2-3 weeks, Amy hopes to have her on the course with runs at Lingfield and Chelmsford in mind.
