Update on DAWN VIEW and ONALEDGE

Our trainer Stuart Williams said that ONALEDGE had settled into the main training yard from her pretraining yard and that he was very pleased with her.  ONALEDGE had her first gallop for him last week and Stuart had also put her through the starting stalls and although she is still slow breaking out of them, he was very pleased with her and she will have another practice next week.

DAWN VIEW is continuing to work well and Stuart plans to enter her at Great Yarmouth and Newmarket although at the moment, there are so many entries for every race he is not sure that she will get in but he is actively looking to race her.  Stuart said that he had made an entry for another horse of his at Kempton on Tuesday and there are currently 94 entries for the 12 runner field.

Fingers crossed that the flat racing season can start next week with ITV Racing showing 21 live races across next Friday, Saturday and Sunday’s Group 1 cards which includes the Coronation Cup, rerouted from Epsom, and the Qipco 2,000 and 1,000 Guineas.  The races will be run at the Rowley Mile Racecourse with presenters and commentator Richard Hoiles working off site. The Rowley Mile course is much larger than the July course which will make social distancing much easier and there will also be an exclusion zone around the whole course.
